Black Eyed Children

The first time I heard about the "black eyed children" it struck a chord with me. To be honest, it would scare the hell out of me. Some of the witnesses accounts are truly terrifying, and very odd. What these beings could be is just speculation a the moment. Could they be demons,ghosts,aliens, or maybe an urban myth that has grown through the years, like many other myths.

So, what do we know about these beings.

Their eyes are completely black, with no white part at all., and they normally knock on peoples doors. The strange thing is, like vampires they can't enter unless you give them permission. So most of the time they will say things like "can we use your toilet" or "can we use your phone". Only when you open the door and let them in, you might find yourself in a lot of trouble.

The fist story I came across happened in 1998. Journalist Brian Bethel was sitting in his car when two children approached him. He said at first he thought they looked like normal kids,though a bit pale. Bethel said he was overcome with fear. He knew straight away something was not right. The children said they were on there way to watch a movie, but left their money at home, so they asked Bethel for a ride back to their house. He refused to let the children in his car, and because of this, the children started to get annoyed. Bethel's fear was getting worse and worse, but he actually found himself wanting to open the door. It was then that he noticed the children's eyes. The children had black eyes, lacking pupils and irises. The children were becoming more demanding and angry, but Bethel managed to drive away.

Another interesting story

I work at the local YMCA as a youth councillor, one night as I sat in the parking lot clearing room on the seat next to me for my friend to sit down this kid comes up to the side of the car, immediately as this kid gets near us we can tell something is wrong, my friend just hopped into the back of the car and we lock all the doors. The kid didn't say anything, but before I realized it I had rolled down the window, when I got a closer look at the kid I was alarmed at how young he looked, I'd say about 7-10 years old.

  He was your average very blonde white kid, pale skin, but he gave off a terrible aura of bad things. He told me to let him in the car, never giving a reason, I was compelled by some force to open the door, but my friend kept telling me "there's no more room" The kid began to repeat this phrase back, sounding very angry. "NO MORE ROOM, NO MORE ROOM" at this point he and I made eye contact, I saw that his eyes were fully black, no whites to them at all. He grabbed my arm through the window, and dug his fingernails into my forearm, his skin was cold. I shoved him from the window and shouted "THERE'S NO MORE ROOM" and slammed my foot on the accelerator. We drove over the curb and flattened a bush before leaving the parking lot, as we sped towards my friend's house we saw this kid twice, once at a fruit stand, and again at a red light.   (Two days later another black-eyed child appears outside the eyewitness's home) We go back to watching the movie when there is a knock on the door. Not just one or two, but a knock that you get when someone is angry with you, like when the government comes in all the movies. I look out the peep-hole and see no one, so I opened the door. Standing 

there is a teenage kid, pale skin, jet black hair. I ask him if he needs help, and he told me he needed a telephone. This kid looks fairly straight-edge, he looks like the type you can trust, I get no bad aura from him, and I'm about to let him in when I notice his eyes. Deep black, just like the kid in the parking lot. I slam the door in his face, and look out the peep-hole, I still see no one through it.

Fact or fiction

The children are normally aged between 12 to 18, and most of the time they hang around in groups. Most of the witnesses say they felt overcome by fear, and a hypnotic kind of feeling. I have not heard of any accounts where these children have actually entered someone's house, and there is no evidence that these beings exist. All we have are witnesses, and there are many from all over the world. Also, there have been sightings of adult black eyed beings, though most cases, they are children.

So, if these witnesses are telling the truth, what could they be? Could it be that these are just children using contact lenses. Maybe, but how does that explain the fear that these people feel when they see them. Maybe the witnesses feel the overwhelming fear because of the contact lenses. I mean, that would freak most people out. But what I find interesting is the fact that these children act the same, like robots. I'm not saying they are robots, but there are too many cases, and when you read them, these children seem to act the same. Now, if this was prank, I would have thought that the cases would differ, but they don't.

And why don't they force themselves into someone's house, or car? Some people say it's because they are evil spirits or ghosts. The idea of an evil presence needing some sort of invitation before entering a house is a belief that has been round for hundreds of years.

It's hard though to know what's going on here. All we have are witnesses, and no evidence. But this is what we do know.

1- They have back eyes.

2- They put fear into people.

3- They need to be invited in.

4- Most cases happen at night.

5- They are mostly children.

6-  They are normally in groups.

Like shadow people, we only have witnesses accounts and nothing more, and thats not enough for me. I am not ruling it out completely, but when there is zero evidence, i really have to be sceptical.
